Do you have a Productive Profile or a Productified Profile?

“A Productive Profile (not a Productified Profile) is to a Corporate / Institutional Hierarchy Climber what climbing gears are to a mountaineer”

                                                                       - Chris M Jayachandran

1.  1. Productive Profile that is updated, secured with 100% privacy and with a guarantee of not being monetized, identified with just the name of a person, and shared through email / WhatsApp at the snap of a finger

 2.    Productified Profile that floats on the social media platforms / job search portals making money 24 /7 for the companies from monetization by being sold, and through targeted advertisement, also that anyone can see, and potentially be your competition

 3.    Corporate / Institutional Hierarchy Climber has few years of work experience currently working, but constantly looks for good opportunities to grow in the same organization or in an organization that values him / her. He / she is not change-averse and growth averse.

We create Productive Profiles for corporate / institutional hierarchy climbers for just Rs.99 (inclusive of 18% GST Charges) Give us a shout, we will serve you with a smile (but you cannot see us smiling while serving you J)

Can your Profile be shared with just a simple link containing your name?

"An impressive profile that cannot be shared with prospective employers or customers, using a link with just your name / business name is like a weapon in your arsenal that does not fire"

What motivates you?

 What motivates you?

Pleasure? Posh things? Praise? Power? All good! But, how about “Pain”?

If there would be an everlasting impact and all-pervading transformation in you; that must have been through “pain” only.

At times, some of us feel like exploding in tears, that too in private; wondering whether we have pain in life or life in pain, which using Set language can be understood as life containing pain, and pain containing life respectively.

I look up to Ms. Keerthana from Tamil Nadu, India as a role model to emulate, like a very few around us.

Losing her mother when she was a 10 days old baby, losing her father when studying Grade 10, and getting her leg completely amputated due to life threatening Cancer during her II year Nursing Course; she has endured great pain and suffering.

Few minutes’ news clip about her inner-strength, is worth listening to, and getting inspired.

Next time, let us embrace pain and suffering if we were to endure them while molding ourselves out, and building ourselves from the ground up.

What pain of yours, has motivated you to excel?

Hi there,

I recently replied to one of the posts by a student who has voiced her / his concern over an unjustified billing by one of the facility providers in her / his Institution. It just dawned on me that such problems pop up in many institutions these days. Students instead of responding to it, end up reacting to it on Social Media. There definitely is a huge difference between responding to a problem and reacting to a problem; which brings its own consequences.

So, here are a few pointers that all of you (students) might want to consider when trying to garner support against the unjustified fee bills by the facility providers such as Mess Contractor or even by the Administration of an Institution, during this pandemic.

1. Make sure that your focus is on fixing the problem instead of putting the spotlight on people / administration, whenever you make your representation to anyone / forum.

2. Think a lot before posting such issue on Social Media. Trying to get ‘attention’ in Social Media Platforms; through comments and likes may not always solve the problem. There is a difference between helping hands and hands stretched out. Moreover, a problem that is not well understood may not be effectively solved by any of us (including me).

3. Yes, Social Media Platforms can be used to voice many issues.  But, there is a flipside to such a post. Students who strongly retaliate against the Administration of a College or Institution are actually tarnishing the image of the Institution without resorting to the easy, and straight-forward approach of reaching out to the right decision maker first, and trying to reason things out.

4. An Institution’s Image / Goodwill is built by the toiling of both Academics and students every year through stellar performance. So, naturally it takes decades. But in no time the Image of an Institution or a student can take a permanent damage due to the unthoughtful actions / words on Social Media.

5. Goodwill or Reputation is the intangible asset to an individual and to an Institution whose value is realized only after it is being lost. Please think about that.

6. On top of all, prospective employers would not want to hire resources / students who have previous records of riotously trying to get attention on Social Media, and trying to solve an internal affairs of a college / Institution or organization without the due diligence, and without weighing all win-win approaches available.

At times, a decision to decide later or decide with all info factored-in with delay, can also prove to be prudent. I hope at least a few students will agree with my stand.

Best Wishes from us,

Values or Valuables?

The greatest gift a parent can give to his / her child does not lie in just self-denial and in material riches; but it stretches over a long period during which a child is loved unconditionally, empowered instead of being over-powered, facilitated to grow holistically instead of being provided with facilities. Such gift will prepare that child to perpetuate the same unconditional love, empowerment, and growth-facilitation to his / her own children decades later.

I thank God for having blessed me with such parents. RIP Pa and Ma. Engulfing Love for you both, now and ever.

What would you prefer to enrich and enshrine your children with? Will it be values or valuables?

Viva-Voce Pointers (for M.Sc (CS), MCA, Computer Science Engineering / IT Final Year Students)

Hi Guys, it is a good idea to note the following during your Viva-Voce. I am not an authority on this topic, though.

1. Don't place (copy-paste) the whole abstract of your project in one slide.

2. Clearly mention the module names in your project, and associated functionalities. You should be able to articulate or verbalize the functionalities without stammering.

3. Focus on the drawbacks of the existing system or the challenges that the company’s client was facing and how your project helps the company (client) to overcome those challenges. This is nothing but the advantages of the proposed system.

4. Justify why you chose the set of technologies with which you developed the project. Don't simply keep mentioning the word ‘system’ throughout your presentation. It may be a Mobile App, Web App or a Game that you developed. So use your project's appropriate name / type wherever applicable.

5. Double check your table design and remove any blank spaces in the field names. While working in your Word Processing software, there might have been spaces given inadvertently. Use primary keys wherever applicable. Avoid duplication of a particular field name, instead use constraints such as foreign keys.

6. Give a special mention to the difficulties you faced while developing the project.

7. The most important part of your presentation must be the new learning that has taken place in you. In other words, what you originally achieved by learning on your own to complete the development.

8. Before wrapping up, you can brag (but only a bit) about how your project has been accepted and appreciated by your (client) company by solving certain pain areas faced by the client.

Best Wishes to you all

Diplomacy Vs Integrity

"There will be devastating and degenerative impact in Organizations / Institutions when 'Diplomacy' completely replaces 'Integrity' even if such replacement is only at the mid-managerial levels".

But a best teacher knows that he / she cannot know all answers, acknowledges that fact, and still motivates the learner community with his / her enthusiasm that he / she would find answers and actually gets back to them."
